FAQ

Questions, answered
without the hedge.

Ordering

Who can buy from Aminopia?

Qualified researchers and research organisations, aged 21 or over, purchasing for in-vitro laboratory work. Placing an order confirms you meet those conditions. We decline orders at our discretion.

Why is there no price on the listing?

Pricing depends on lot and quantity, and we quote it directly rather than publishing a number that changes. Request a quote from any product page and you will have an answer within one business day.

Can I get a sample before ordering a full vial?

The certificate is the sample. It tells you the purity, identity, net peptide content and moisture of the exact lot you would receive — which is considerably more informative than a small quantity of it.

Testing and certificates

Who does your testing?

An independent laboratory that is not owned by us, not paid by result, and named on every certificate. In-house testing by a supplier is a self-assessment, and we do not treat it as evidence.

What does "≥99% purity" actually measure?

Main-peak area over total integrated area by reverse-phase HPLC with UV detection at 214 nm. It is a chromatographic purity figure. It is not a statement about net peptide content, moisture, sterility, or endotoxin — each of which we report separately or explicitly decline to claim.

Do you publish lots that failed?

Yes. A failed lot is marked withheld, is not sold, and its certificate stays online. A supplier whose archive contains only passes is showing you an edited record.

The purity on my certificate differs from the catalog figure.

The catalog figure is a minimum specification; the certificate is the measurement for your lot. The certificate governs. If a lot measured below the catalog minimum it would not have been released to you.

Handling

My package arrived warm. Is the material ruined?

Almost certainly not. Lyophilized peptide is stable for several days at ambient temperature — the cold pack is a margin of safety, not a requirement of transit. Transfer the vial to −20 °C, desiccated and light-protected, on receipt.

How should I store it?

Lyophilized and sealed: −20 °C, desiccated, protected from light. Storage conditions specific to each compound are stated on its product page and on the handling sheet shipped with the order.

Can you tell me how to reconstitute it?

We publish laboratory solvent compatibility on each product page. We do not publish reconstitution protocols, volumes, or any procedure oriented toward use in humans or animals, and our staff will not provide them.

Research use

What does "research use only" mean here?

That the material is a chemical reference standard for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not a drug, supplement, food, cosmetic or medical device; it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything; and it is not for human or veterinary administration by any route. This is a condition of sale, not a formality.

Will you advise on dosing?

No — and not as a legal hedge. We do not hold that information in a form we would stand behind, and providing it would misrepresent what this material is. Repeated requests will result in cancellation.

Is it legal for me to order this?

That depends entirely on where you are, and it is your responsibility to establish. Regulatory classification of these compounds varies by country and changes over time. We do not provide legal advice, and we will not mis-declare a shipment to assist a customs outcome.

Something not covered? Ask us directly — except about dosing, which we will not answer.
