Cagrilintide

Appetite-signalling research · From $68

Overview

Cagrilintide is a long-acting, lipidated 37-residue amylin analogue that behaves as a non-selective agonist across calcitonin-family G protein-coupled receptors, including the calcitonin receptor (CTR) and the AMY1-3 amylin receptors formed by CTR with RAMP1-3. Its receptor pharmacology has been profiled in recombinant cell systems against selective and non-selective calcitonin-family agonists, and it has been investigated in preclinical rodent models for food-intake and pharmacokinetic endpoints, where the C20 diacid-γGlu acylation confers albumin binding and an extended half-life. It is an investigational compound and is supplied for in vitro and preclinical research use only.
